[ARCHIVED] Ice-Snow Emergency Still in Effect

While the ice has melted, the ice-snow emergency remains in effect.

During ice-snow emergencies, on street parking on priority transportation routes is banned. The ban allows emergency vehicles and heavy equipment to travel safely on roadways to respond to hazards and storm debris cleanup.

Public Works crews need access to this space to better manage the storm debris and clear the roads and sidewalks. Getting parked cars off the street is a vital part of this emergency declaration. A full description of ice-snow priority routes can be viewed at www.eugene-or.gov/snow.
