[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed February 20 for Presidents' Day

All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed for Presidents' Day, Monday, February 20.

All community centers will be closed February 20; Sheldon Pool and Echo Hollow Pool and Fitness Center will be open regular hours. The Hult Center Ticket Office will be closed February 20. All Eugene Public Library locations (Downtown, Bethel, and Sheldon) and book returns will be closed February 20. Hult Center ticket purchases, many Library services, and registration for Recreation programs are available online 24/7.

Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on February 20. The main police station on Country Club Rd. is open 365 days a year; the West University and Downtown Public Safety Stations will be closed on February 20. 

No work will be done on City street repair projects. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption.

All City parking garages and surface lots (except the Amtrak Train Depot lot at 433 Willamette) will be free February 20. City-managed on-street meters will be free on February 20. On-street parking limits in the Arena District surrounding Matt Knight Arena are in effect at all times as per posted signs.

The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual through the holiday weekend, including Monday. For flight schedule information, go to or call: 541-682-5544.

All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Tuesday, February 21 unless otherwise noted. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Memorial Day, Monday, May 29.
