City Responding to Down Trees Blocking 16 Roads

Public Works has 27 staff making up 13 crews in the field responding to downed trees blocking roadways with more reports coming in.

Notable locations include:

  • 10th & Lincoln
  • High Street between 11th and 12th

Crews expect to be working throughout the day to ensure roads are clear and the public is safe. Citizens are advised to use caution near trees on roadways, and in parks and natural areas. In past storms, parks such as Hendricks Park have been closed due to significant tree failures.

If citizens see hazardous conditions that are not life threatening, they can report them to Public Works by calling 541-682-4800.  For immediate threat to safety, please call 911.
