[ARCHIVED] Stolen Vehicle on Car Break-in Spree Located

At 2:27 a.m. on May30, an officer was called regarding a vehicle break-in at 2nd and High subsequently other cases were found, indicating a spree in the Coburg Road area. The responding officer was able to link these incidents to a vehicle on Kinsrow, with the help of bystanders. It was discovered to be a stolen Mercedes. Another officer spotted the vehicle downtown driving the wrong way on 7th.  A third officer then found the vehicle at 1166 Oak, occupied by Michael Wayne Ruby, age 38, who was apprehended. Stolen property was also recovered. 


Ruby was charged with Possession of  Stolen Vehicle, and three counts of Unlawful Entry Motor Vehicle.
