Reckless Endangering – Case 1714877
Police responded to the area regarding an occupant of a gold 1995 Honda Accord that drove by another vehicle and fired a paintball at the involved vehicle that was occupied. The Lane County Sheriff’s Office located the Honda traveling southbound on NW Expressway and conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle at N. Park Avenue. EPD contacted the suspect, Sergio Uribe Vargas, age 19, of Hayward California, and located a paintball gun in his possession. Following contact with Vargas, he was arrested and transported to the Lane County Jail for Reckless Endangering and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree.

Police responded to Kozy Restaurant regarding a disorderly subject who was yelling and broke several items at the business that included a large glass window, a large planter and a bench. The officer observed the damage to the items and contacted the subject, Steven Lee Melendrez, age 20, of Eugene. He was arrested and transported to the Lane County Jail for Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree.

Disorderly Conduct/Resisting Arrest – Case 1714870
Police responded to the are regarding a female subject who was walking north in the northbound lane of traffic on Jefferson Street near W. 1st Avenue. The responding officer located the subject, Brittany Jasmine Brown, age 29, and contacted her regarding impeding vehicle traffic and arrested her for Disorderly Conduct. During the arrest, Brown attempted to pull away and struggled with officers, and received an additional charge of Resisting Arrest. She was transported to the Lane County Jail.

Reckless Endangering/DUII/Reckless Driving/Driving While Suspended – Case 1714864
A police officer was on patrol in the area and observed a Ford Fiesta cross over the lane lines and stop abruptly, nearly causing a crash. The officer contacted the driver, Terry Michael Fuller, age 33, of Roseburg, and observed a passenger in the vehicle. After further investigation, Fuller was arrested and transported to the Lane County Jail for Reckless Endangering, DUII, Reckless Driving and Driving While Suspended-Felony.

DUII Felony/Reckless Driving – Case 1714820
A police officer on patrol observed a 2009 tan GMC Sierra on I-105 eastbound, swerve within its lane and drove over the white lane line before turning onto the Delta northbound off-ramp without signaling the turn. The officer conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and contacted the driver, John Paul Agnew, age 36, of Derby Kansas, and arrested him for DUII-Felony and Reckless Driving. He was transported to the Lane County Jail on the charges.

Menacing/Criminal Trespass 2 – Case 1714818
Police responded to the hospital regarding a male subject who refused to leave the location. Police received information that the subject, Harold Douglas Maxfield Jr., age 33, of Eugene, became aggressive with employees and approached them while holding a knife and pointed the knife at the employees. The employees were subsequently able to secure the location, until police arrived and contacted Maxfield, and found him in possession of a knife. He was arrested and transported to the Lane County Jail for two counts of Menacing and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree.

Police responded to the area regarding a single vehicle crash and observed a 1991 Toyota 4Runner on the north side of Wagner Street that was stopped on the sidewalk and an LTD bus route sign on the ground in the eastbound lane and glass scattered in the east bound lane. Police received information that the vehicle was observed swerving in both lanes across the roadway causing alarm to several people at the bus stop who immediately left the location to avoid a possible collision with the vehicle. Police contacted the driver of the vehicle, Caleb Michael Blaser, age 21, of Eugene, and after further investigation, arrested him for DUII, Reckless Driving and Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree.

Police responded to a burglary in progress at a residence and an involved female subject who was observed placing items on her bike after having been in the backyard of the involved residence. When police arrived, officers observed a window and door to the residence that had been left open and received information that several items had been taken from the residence. Police located the described suspect, Jessica Dawn Blanton, age 25, who was in the area of Highway 99N and Roosevelt Boulevard and contacted her regarding the burglary. She was arrested and transported to the Lane County Jail for Burglary in the First Degree and Theft in the First Degree.

Public Indecency/Criminal Trespass 2 – Case 1714789
Police responded to North Eugene High School regarding a male subject who exposed himself on school property to a female subject. Police located the described male subject, Reese Allan Feuerstein, age 41, of Junction City, at the location and contacted him regarding the incident. He was arrested for Public Indecency and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree. Police also contacted Feurstein regarding an incident that happened on August 21. Police responded to the 3500 block of Village Avenue at approximately 4:55 a.m. regarding a male subject who unlawfully entered a vehicle at the location and caused damage to the inside of the vehicle, and observed an additional vehicle that was left at the location by Feurstein. Following contact with Feurstein, he received additional charges for Unlawful Entry of a Motor Vehicle and Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree. He was transported to the Lane County Jail.
