[ARCHIVED] Eugene Engineer to Lead State Organization

Jenifer Willer, Principal Civil Engineer, will soon be leading the state’s largest group of public works professionals. At the beginning of the 2018, she will officially take over as president of the Oregon Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA).

Jennifer“I’m honored for the opportunity to lead this great group of public works professionals over the next year,” said Jenifer. “The APWA not only helps us better execute best management practices, but it’s a platform for us to learn more about our profession and grow as leaders.”

As president, Jenifer will have a wide variety of duties. She will lead the Chapter’s executive team, execution of the strategic plan, and serve as the chapter liaison with the national organization. Jenifer will also be the Master of Ceremonies for the spring and fall conferences, including the spring conference, which will be held in Eugene in April.

Jenifer has served on the board of the Oregon Chapter of APWA for five years, serving as President-Elect in 2017. For more information about her contributions to APWA, contact Jenifer at 541-682-6036.
