City of Eugene services and facilities set their own schedules for holiday hours. All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed December 25 and January 1 for the holidays.
Library, Recreation and Cultural Services
All locations of the Eugene Public Library, community centers, pools, and the Hult Center Ticket Office will be closed December 25 and January 1.
Police, Fire, Medical and Other Emergency Services
Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on December 25 and January 1. The main police station on Country Club Road is open 365 days a year. Please note that the West University and Downtown Public Safety Stations will be closed on December 25 and January 1. The West University Station will also be closed on Friday, December 22, and again on Friday, December 29.
No work will be done on City street repair projects. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption.
All City-managed parking garages, surface lots and on-street meters will be free December 25 and January 1. Please note the Train Depot Lot is paid 24/7/365 per an administrative order. On-street parking limits in the Arena District surrounding Matt Knight Arena are also in effect at all times as per posted signs.
The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual through the holidays. The airport administrative offices will be closed Monday, December 25, and Monday, January 1. For flight schedule information, go to www.flyEUG.com or call 541-682-5544.
All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Tuesday, December 26, and Tuesday, January 2, unless otherwise noted. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Martin Luther King Day on January 15, 2018.
