[ARCHIVED] Neighborhood Market Armed Robbery

Police are seeking tips in an armed robbery occurring on March 2 at 11:45 p.m. at the Neighborhood Market, 2429 Hilyard.

A suspect entered the market and used a handgun to rob an employee of cash, and there was a second suspect (no description or further info on the second suspect), who stood by the door. The suspect who used the handgun to rob the store fled on foot east, on E. 24th Avenue. Multiple Eugene Police patrol officers responded along with an EPD K9 unit. The search was unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s with a medium to heavy build, and approximately 5’9” tall. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hat, jacket and pants. The suspect also had on a black bandana covering his face at the time of the robbery.
