The average number of calls for service over the last four weeks is 1,746 with 168 arrests. The number of calls for service during the same week last year was 1,752 with 185 arrests. Over the last three years, the average number of calls for service for this period was 1,563 and there were 196 arrests.
On April 2, EPD responded to 253 calls for service and made 16 arrests. Disorderly Conduct – Case 1805303
Police responded to a residence at an apartment regarding an unknown female subject who had been banging on the apartment windows and door around 3 a.m. The described subject, Donna Lee Webb, age 57, was located and contacted by police near the front door of the apartment. She was arrested and transported to the Lane County Jail for Disorderly Conduct.

Felon In Possession Firearm/Possession Stolen Vehicle – Case 1805253
A police officer on patrol observed a stolen GMC Envoy traveling northbound on Highway 99 and followed the vehicle into an apartment complex. The officer pulled into the location and observed the driver, who was standing outside the vehicle, run westbound. The officer followed the suspect, Shane Chase Montes, age 33, of Eugene, who continued to run after being given direction to stop, and was eventually taken into custody a short distance away. Following contact with Montes, police found information to arrest him for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Felon In Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine, Interfering With Peace Officer and a warrant. He was transported to the Lane County Jail on the charges.
