[ARCHIVED] 911 Phone Outage

Central Lane 911 is experiencing a phone outage for Sprint Network customers only. It is our understanding that a change was made to the Sprint Network over the weekend by Sprint and that Sprint and their associated customers, such as Boost, are unable to get through the 911 system. When calling 911 Sprint customers cannot push a key on their cell phone to get through, and they must say “help” in order to reach 911.

If Sprint customers are still unable to get through after stating they need help, they should call the non-emergency number at: 541-344-2211. Please use this phone number for emergencies only.

This outage has been reported to the Oregon Office of Emergency Management, Century Link and the Sprint Network.
