[ARCHIVED] Designs for Riverfront Park Revealed Thursday

The Downtown Riverfront Park design team, led by Walker Macy and the City of Eugene Parks and Open Space Division, received feedback from more than 1,700 community members in response to how they envision the future four-acre park.


For the past month, the designers have been exploring design ideas and concepts, turning the survey responses into reality.The first set of designs will be revealed at the next public meeting on Thursday, July 19. Attendees will be asked to weigh in on the designs presented with live audience polling in addition to audience Q&A.


This is a family-friendly event with activities for kids and light refreshments provided. Hosted site tours will be available following the presentation.
