[ARCHIVED] Attend 'Making It Happen' Planning Project Fair

The City of Eugene Planning Division is holding a drop-in project fair from 4-7 p.m. on October 10 in the Bascom-Tykeson Room of the Downtown Library.

Members of the public can learn about how we are implementing Envision Eugene, our community’s collective vision for how we will grow while preserving what we love about our community. Over 10 implementation projects will be featured, and staff will be present to share information, answer questions, and provide ways for the public to get involved.

Featured Projects

  • River Road and Santa Clara Neighborhood Plan
  • Urban Reserves Planning
  • Growth Monitoring Program
  • Envision Eugene Comprehensive Plan
  • Clear and Objective Housing Approval Criteria Update
  • Housing Tools and Strategies
  • Neighborhood Planning Guidelines
  • MovingAhead
  • Clear Lake Development Strategy
  • Urban Design Showcase
  • Historic Preservation

The project fair is intended to make information on a range of projects readily accessible to the public, and to show how the various projects are interconnected. The goal is also to streamline information-sharing by allowing members of the public to attend a single event to learn about all ongoing projects.

There will also be children’s activities, refreshments, and a chance to win raffle prizes. All interested community members are encouraged to attend. For those unable to attend, all the information will be made available on the Planning Division’s Active Projects web page.
