Drivers should plan ahead as I-105 bridges and ramps between the Delta Highway interchange and downtown Eugene are being repaired, repaved and getting seismic upgrades. Lane closures and detours are necessary and will cause large backups at times.
Traffic will be down to one lane in each direction during the project. All traffic will be shifted to the westbound lanes on Tuesday, October 30. This will last for about six to eight weeks. Then traffic will move to the eastbound lanes.
When traffic moves to the eastbound lanes, the ramp from southbound Delta Highway to westbound I-105 will be closed for about six weeks, until that portion of the roadway is completed.
