[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed for Veterans Day on November 12

City of Eugene services and facilities have different schedules for holiday hours. All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed on Monday, November 12, in observance of Veterans Day.


Library, Recreation and Cultural Services

Sheldon Pool, Echo Hollow Pool, and all three Eugene Public Library locations will be open during regular hours on Monday, November 12. Community centers and the Hult Center ticket office will be closed. All Eugene Public Library locations will be closed on Sunday, November 11.


Police, Fire, Medical and Other Emergency Services

Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on November 12. The main police station on Country Club Road is open 365 days a year. Although the Downtown Station office will be closed on November 12, the Downtown Patrol Team will be duty.


Public Works

No work will be done on City street repair projects. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption.


Parking

City-managed parking garages, surface lots and on-street meters will be free on November 12, except for the train depot surface lot. On-street parking limits in the Arena District surrounding Matt Knight Arena are in effect at all times as per posted signs.


Airport

The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual through the holidays. The airport administrative offices will be closed November 12. For flight schedule information, go to www.flyEUG.com or call 541-682-5544.


All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Tuesday, November 13, unless otherwise noted. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Thanksgiving on November 22 and 23.
