On January 2 at approximately 5:30 p.m., a search warrant that was served on the 500 block of West 8th Avenue following an ongoing drug investigation. As a result of the investigation, the search warrant was obtained by Patrol, and detectives executed the warrant for a single room at the residence. While searching the location, officers and detectives located a suspicious device within the bedroom, which prompted a response from the Eugene Police Explosive Disposal Unit, and the device was eventually rendered safe. The investigation and search of the location continued, and resulted in the seizure of substantial amounts of narcotics, US currency, and several firearms. The occupant of the location, Adam King Haralamos, age 51, was subsequently arrested and lodged at Lane county Jail on the following charges:
