[ARCHIVED] Two arrested for Drug Delivery and Possession (heroin, methamphetamine)

On July 9, at 1:19 p.m., Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit was working a location, in the 1100 block of Mill Street, that has been a problem house and after receiving a drug crime tip. Two officers contacted a man who exited the residence for a pedestrian violation. During the contact, the man was found to be in possession of several hundred dollars cash and a bundle of heroin.


An investigation led to two other suspects, Ronald Scott Minyard, age 35, of Eugene, and Danielle Marie Tuckerparks, age 31, of Eugene. Both the individuals had active warrants. After applying for and being granted a search warrant, SCU contacted Eugene Police SWAT to help serve the warrant and Minyard and Tuckerparks were taken into custody without incident. SCU’s search yielded additional evidence for delivery of heroin and methamphetamine. In total SCU seized about 20 grams of methamphetamine and 10 grams of heroin, plus more than $1,500 in cash.


Minyard was charged in several cases: Theft in the First Degree, Possession of Heroin Prior Felony Conviction (Case 1908187), Delivery of a Controlled Substance Heroin, Possession of a Controlled Substance Heroin, (case 1906212), Possession of Controlled Substance Heroin, Delivery of Controlled Substance Heroin, Delivery of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine Prior Felony conviction, and four warrants (case 1910723)


Tuckerparks was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, Delivery of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance Heroin, Delivery of a Controlled Substance Heroin, and three warrants.
