[ARCHIVED] Investigators located vehicle and suspects in shots fired call at Valley River Center parking lot

Update: 


On February 15 at 2:56 p.m., Eugene Police responded to Valley River Center for report of shots fired in a parking lot area.  Eugene Police Special Investigations Unit investigation located the Audi the day after the incident. The two suspects have also been contacted and charged in this case: 

 

Skyler Ray Watkins, age 18, of Springfield, was located yesterday with the assistance of the EPD Bailiff and arrested at Eugene Municipal Court at 2:20 p.m. on February 19. He was charged with Carrying Concealed Firearm and Menacing.  

 

Kaleb Daniel Odoms, age 19,  of Eugene, turned himself in at Eugene Police Headquarters today at approximately 3p.m.. He was charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

Police respond to Valley River Center shots fired call

 

At 2:56 this afternoon police received report of shots fired in the parking lot just east of JC Penney. Several males described as teens to early 20s in age were involved in a dispute. 

 

One of the males took out a fire arm and shot it. He fled in a lowered, grey-colored Audi sedan. 

 

Patrol and Investigation Units are following up on the incident.
