[ARCHIVED] Try something new – for free!

Want to try a new exercise, dance or painting class, but not sure it’s right for you? Register for one of the "Try for Free" classes offered early in January. Registration is required, but the classes are free.

Try for free classes include yoga, Zumba Gold, Beginning Line Dance and Folk dancing, two exercise classes, oil painting, and Tai Chi. Locations vary. For more details, visit the virtual Recreation Guide at and see pages 32 - 40. Register online at RecEnroll and use the bar code in the description.

Also in early January, adults are invited to join free weekly walking or biking groups. These self-led activities are drop-in; no registration required. Enjoy a hot beverage at Campbell Center at 10 a.m. before the Bike Riding for Fun & Fitness Group on Jan. 11 or at 8:30 a.m. before the Walk ‘n’ Talkers on Jan. 13.
