[ARCHIVED] Map and List of Local Restaurants Offering Take-out in Eugene Now Available

The City of Eugene is aware that the Governor’s Order to Stay Home, Stay Safe is having a dramatic effect on the local and regional economy. The City is collaborating with businesses and the Chamber of Commerce to provide accurate information to the community about some of our dining options.

Oregonians are not allowed to consume take-out food and beverages anywhere on the premises of restaurants, bars, brewpubs, cafes, food carts, food courts and other establishments, according to Governor’s Executive Order No. 20-07. Food and beverages must be consumed off premises.

The prohibited areas include the outdoor seating areas of establishments where food and beverages are purchased. The Governor’s prohibition included outdoor seating areas. A recently released Q&A from the Oregon Health Authority addresses this topic.

In order to make to-go orders easier for the community and business owners, the city has temporarily designated specific on-street parking locations for food pick-up and is maintaining a map of these locations. The Chamber of Commerce is also maintaining a list of all restaurants open for business during this time.
