[ARCHIVED] Police respond to fatality at 3rd and Washington

Police responded to 3rd and Washington at 1:43 p.m. to investigate a fatal train/pedestrian crash. Multiple witnesses say the train was traveling through when they saw a man intentionally place his head on the train tracks. The man has been identified as a 51-year-old, from outside the area. His name is being withheld until next of kin are notified.
