After an extensive investigation by Special Investigations Unit, assisted by Violent Crimes Unit, Tommy Duwain Hanson, age 19, has turned himself in. The SIU worked with family members of the suspect for him to safely arrive at Eugene Police headquarters, 300 Country Club, today, April 13 at 1:36 p.m., Hanson was taken into custody without incident and is being lodged on charges of Attempted Murder, Robbery in the First Degree, and Robbery in the Second Degree.

Demario Aundre Jackson, age 30, was arrested in this case last night. The arrest took place in the 400 block of N. 12th in Springfield around 7 p.m. He has been charged with Robbery in the First Degree, Robbery in the Second Degree, Attempted Homicide, and Parole Violation. The victim in the case is still alive. The man who had been detained on April 8 is not believed to have been involved.

At 2:31 p.m., today, April 8, Eugene Police officers responded to report of shots fired in the 400 block of E. 15th Avenue. Upon arrival they found an individual who had been shot and a team of officers immediately rendered emergency medical aid until Eugene Springfield Fire EMS medics took over care and transported the victim to a local hospital.
One person was detained in the 300 block of E. 12th Avenue and questioned. It is yet to be determined if this person had any involvement. Police are actively looking for a suspect.
