About the space:
During the pandemic-induced lockdown, I created within an Artist Residency in Motherhood. I made work with and of this space of isolation. During Visual Arts Week I will open my residency studio, my home, where I will install the work created this spring. The work consists of naturally dyed fiber, soft sculpture, embroidery, handmade paper, drawings with natural pigments and more. My hope is to connect to the community through the display of my work made during our collective isolation. I will be demonstrating several of the methods I used in creating the work during the open studio. The images below represent individual works in progress that have been started in quarantine this spring.
