[ARCHIVED] Two Officers Injured, Witnesses Sought

At 10:09 a.m. today, August 18, two officers were called to Looking Glass Regional Crisis Center 550 River Road, as there was an unknown man on the north end of a back building and he was not supposed to be there. Looking Glass wished to have the suspect trespassed. When officers went to make contact, the man ran into traffic and then once officers caught up, he fought with them. Both officers were injured and were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.


The suspect, Justin Lee Riddle, age 29, was arrested for the following charges: two counts of Assault in the Second Degree, two counts of Recklessly Endangering, Resisting Arrest, Interfering with Police Officer, Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree.
