[ARCHIVED] Duck N Go Robbery Suspect Sentenced

The suspect in this Robbery, Kaulin Adrian, Achim, age 19, has been sentenced to 70-months in the Department of Corrections for the Duck N Go Robbery and a pending residential Burglary case.


Eugene Police Property Crimes Unit thanked EPD Patrol, Forensics Evident Unit, Investigations Unit. Members of

EPD SWAT safely took Achim into custody. Lane County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue assisted with a search for the firearm and successfully located the loaded pistol approximately two miles away, in a remote field. EPD Rangemasters test-fired the pistol, which was operable.

Eugene Police Property Crimes Unit detectives made an arrest in this case on May 7.


Kaulin Adrian Achim, age 19, of Eugene, was arrested on charges of Robbery in the First Degree, after detectives identified him as the suspect in the April 14 Duck N Go Market armed robbery. Achim was taken into custody around noon on May 7, with the help of multiple detectives and members of the SWAT Team.


Initial News - Robbery at Duck N Go

On April 14 at 10:44 p.m., Eugene Police officers responded to a Robbery involving a firearm at the Duck N Go convenience store, 115 Commons Drive. The suspect fled with cash. A search was unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, 5’10” to 5’11”. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie with the hood up, an orange jacket over the top of the hoodie along with a blue bandanna partially covering his face.
