[ARCHIVED] Police attempting to locate suspect after early morning stabbing

On August 27, at 2:05 a.m., police responded to a stabbing in the 1100 block area of W. 7th Avenue near Jacksons Market. Police received information that the male suspect confronted the male victim, and after a brief dispute, stabbed the victim and fled south on Van Buren. The victim was transported to the hospital by medics with serious injuries, and the suspect remains outstanding. 

 

The investigation is ongoing and police are continuing to look for the involved suspect. If anyone was in the area and observed the incident, or have information about the location of the involved suspect, they are asked to contact police at 541.682.5111.
