Central Lane 911 has been receiving many calls regarding the smoke in the Eugene and surrounding region.
According to Lane Regional Air Protection Agency, the smoke is from wildfires in central Oregon and areas east of Lane County. It will be with us through at least tomorrow.
Please do not call 911 about the smoke unless you see a specific source of a fire or smoke.
