women in water fitness class

Kick start your New Year’s exercise routine by entering the “Commit to Fit” contest at City pools this month. Just sign up at Sheldon or Echo Hollow Pool and Fitness Center. Each time you attend a water fitness class or work out in the fitness center from Jan. 7 to Feb. 1, you’ll receive 1 punch on your Commit to Fit punch card (2 punches on double punch Tuesdays).

When you have ten punches, you can enter to win a 30-day pool pass or other fun prizes. And, after a month of regular workouts, you’ll be well on your way to a healthy fitness routine!

Water fitness classes are offered for a variety of abilities and at convenient times. The intensity of classes ranges from easy to challenging; in shallow or deep water, and classes are held from early in the morning to the evening hours. See all the classes at the link below, click Adult Health and Fitness.

The fitness centers at both pools have a variety of exercise machines and free weights for the work out you prefer, and there are televisions to keep you company as you exercise. You simply have no excuse! And, once you get in the routine of exercising, you’ll find it easier to keep your New Year’s resolution to get fit!

Purchase your first Aquatics membership card at either pool; reload online thereafter. Call 541-682-5525 for more information.
