[ARCHIVED] EPD and Hole in Wall BBQ Make Special Delivery to SVDP Staff

SVdP

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the regular holiday meal for clients of St. Vincent de Paul Lindholm Center was not feasible (this would have been the 6th year). However, organizer EPD Officer David Clark raised donations from EPD staff and others, and worked with Hole in the Wall to provide a catered meal for SVDP staff. Today, Eugene Police Department staff picked up holiday meals catered by Hole in the Wall Barbecue to serve about 50 of the St. Vincent de Paul staff who tirelessly serve meals, assist with housing at Dusk to Dawn, provide resource to clients, and distribute food to hundreds of people in need. The meals were delivered at about noon to the SVDP staff meeting at 717 Highway 99N.

Many elves donated for the dinners, and Hole in the Wall assisted to make this happen.
