[ARCHIVED] Vehicle-Pedestrian Crash at E. 18th/Pearl

Eugene Police On April 6 at 9:47 p.m., Eugene Police officers were dispatched to a vehicle-pedestrian collision at the intersection of East 18th Avenue and Pearl Street. Eugene Springfield Fire EMS also arrived and quickly transported the female victim, age 61, who had life-threatening injuries. The roadways were blocked near the crash site.

 

Eugene Police Major Collision Investigation responded to the scene. The 21-year-old male driver of the involved vehicle, a Ford Explorer, remained on scene and fully cooperated with the investigation, including a full evaluation with no impairment was observed. Speed was not suspected as a factor and the crash remains under investigation. 

 

The roadway was reopened at 1:13 a.m. this morning.
