On April 9, at 10:24 p.m., Robert William Clifford, age 65, of Coos Bay, agreed to meet with a 15-year-old female, who was actually a Eugene Police Department detective investigating online crimes against children. Clifford arranged to meet the juvenile at a location for sexual intercourse, that would include pizza and alcohol for them to share.
When contacted Clifford was cooperative during the arrest and taken to the Lane County Jail on a charge of Online Sexual Corruption of a Child.
