On June 26 at 5:46 p.m., Eugene Police officers responded to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and bicycle at S. Bertelsen Road and 13th Avenue. The male bicyclist was taken to a local hospital. Major Collision Investigation team is investigating the crash and Bertelsen Road between W. 11th Avenue and W. 18th Avenue is closed. All traffic lanes of Bertelsen Road in both directions will be shut down for the next several hours. Please avoid the area.
