The Eugene Community Court is happy to announce its return to regular hours beginning this Friday, July 2, from noon to 2:30 p.m. All service providers and the community are invited to visit Community Court at the Eugene Municipal Court (1102 Lincoln St.) to meet old friends and make new relationships with local social service providers.
Community Court’s top priority is to reengage with the community and get people reconnected to services. The Community Court ‘s Provider Room will continue to be available every Friday afternoon on the 2nd floor of the courthouse. Providers that have been invited include:
- Willamette Family
- St. Vincent de Paul
- Catholic Community Services
- White Bird Clinic
- Laurel Hill Center
- Lane County Behavioral Health
- Good Will Industries
- Veteran’s Administration
- Workforce Network
Community Court aims to improve public safety and reduce misdemeanor activity in the downtown core to improve safety and quality of life for all. The process promotes responsibility in participants through a combination of supervised community service and direct connections to social service providers.
