[ARCHIVED] Welcome to “Virtual” Safety Town

In the spirit of Safety Town, and our goal to keep children safe while teaching them about the importance of safety, for the second consecutive year, we’ve decided to bring the Safety Town experience online in a virtual environment to allow everyone to participate!

Your safety and your child’s health and safety are always our top priority. To limit the spread of COVID-19 and Delta variant, and as an alternative to our "in-person" Safety Town camp for 2021, we have created a webpage to help provide the most interactive Safety Town experience possible.

Starting today, parents can view informative and educational videos, and materials online related to important Safety Town topics. Information covered includes animal safety, bicycle safety, fire safety, meet a police officer/tour a police car, and poison safety, to name a few. Children can also meet and learn from our friends Mr. Yuk and Sluggo, from the Eugene Emeralds.

There is also an opportunity to participate in a safety poster art show, with a submission deadline of September 10. You can find more information and a video with details during your Virtual Safety Town visit.

We hope you and your child have an enjoyable and fulfilling Virtual Safety Town experience.
