[ARCHIVED] Man Arrested After Stabbing at Jackalope Parking Lot

Eugene Police responded to report of a stabbing that occurred after a disagreement became physical at the Jackalope parking lot, 453 Willamette Street, in Eugene at 12:06 a.m., August 19. The suspect had left the area. 

 

Officers were in the area and bystanders helped provide directions to the suspect, Cato Springs Donohue-Tyrell, age 32, of Eugene. Donohue-Tyrell was detained and after an investigation he was arrested for Assault in the First Degree and Unlawful Use Weapon. The 35-year-old male victim, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

 

 Donohue-Tyrell and the victim were not acquainted with each other. A woman who had been with Donohue-Tyrell was briefly detained for questioning and officer safety, as the location of the knife was unknown. She was released at the scene. Case  21-12792
