[ARCHIVED] Woman Arrested for Burglary at All That Dance Company

Handcuffs

On September 1 at 2:48 a.m., an officer responded to All That Dance Company, 687 River Avenue, after report of a burglary. Two people had been observed at the location coming out of trailers and there was evidence a trailer and two storage sheds had been tampered with.

While the officer was speaking with the property owner, a woman later identified as Alyssa Lene Caine, age 31, came from behind the property and began walking southbound toward River Avenue. The officer contacted her and she was cooperative. A Springfield Police K9 responded to help search for the second suspect, but did not locate any.

An investigation found locks broken off the shed doors, damage to the sheds and property staged in bags that had been removed from the shed, along with a cart located along the fence near Beltline full of property. Caine was taken to Lane County Jail on a charge of Burglary in the Second Degree.
