[ARCHIVED] Police Looking For Information Following Assault

On September 9, 2021, at approximately 4:22 p.m., police contacted Jordan Nicholas Jacobsen (AKA Jordan Compton), age 20, in the area of West 5th Avenue and Jefferson Street, regarding a warrant for Assault in the First Degree. He was arrested and transported to the Lane County Jail for the following incident:

 

On August 13, Jacobsen was with a group when he assaulted a 21-year-old male victim with a weapon, causing severe and life-threatening injuries. The initial contact occurred around Bethel Skate Park and the group then gathered in a more isolated location to the southeast of the football field on the east side of Meadow View School. 

 

Violent Crimes detectives are looking for additional details, and are asking anyone who might have been in the area and observed the incident or group, to please contact Detective Jennifer Curry at 541.682.5166.
