[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: Attempting to Locate Suspect on Sports Bike Who Eluded Police

Eugene Police would like to express appreciation for the public’s help in providing information in this case, which led to a positive identification of the suspect, Dakota Bradley Osborn, age 19, of Eugene.

 

Osborn was contacted and arrested this morning regarding the incident from September 15, and transported to the Lane County Jail on a charge of Elude by Vehicle-Felony



PREVIOUS RELEASE: September 15

On September 15, at approximately 7:44 a.m., a motorcycle officer in the area of West 18th Avenue and City View attempted to stop the operator of a motorcycle for an improper left turn. The operator failed to stop, and continued westbound on 18th and subsequently West 11th in a reckless manner, causing a danger to other commuters in the area.

 

Police are attempting to locate the operator of the blue and white sport bike, possibly Suzuki (no plates), white male driver, who appeared 20s in age. The man was wearing a black full face helmet, black backpack, red jacket and light grey pants at the time of the incident.
