Get your costumes ready and come downtown with your family and friends for a safe, family friendly Halloween celebration Saturday.
The City of Eugene Cultural Services division is partnering again with the Downtown Eugene Merchants to bring Halloween fun to Kesey Square and the surrounding area. You’ll find a spooky window front walking tour, a frightfully fun scavenger hunt, costumed entertainment, a live DJ and music, souvenir photo opportunity, trick-or-treating and more.
Come any time from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday to enjoy the festivities. Start at the Broadway Commerce Center at 44 W. Broadway where you can pick up your walking map, and step inside to get a family portrait at the photo booth, where photos will be printed on-site for you to take home. Then wander the close streets and take in the sights of roaming spirits, music by DJ Tinta Turnter and trick-or-treating at any business that has an orange balloon outside.
Don’t forget to stick around for the finale at 4 p.m., when the group Thrill the World will perform its annual flash mob at Kesey Square.
