[ARCHIVED] Eugene Police Volunteers Supplying Patrol Vehicles With Care Kits

Capture

Eugene Police volunteers are supplying patrol vehicles with care kits! When police officers encounter members of the community who are in need they are now able to give out a kit.  These kits provide helpful items that have been donated, such as a bottle of water, gloves, socks, hand warmers and cleaning wipes.

The Squad Car Maintenance Team volunteers also perform routine maintenance check on vehicles, shuttle vehicles for repairs and preventative maintenance, and wash the vehicles. As part of managing inventory and supplies in the vehicles, the team checks patrol vehicle trunks and replenishes supplies and equipment as needed, including the care kits.
