[ARCHIVED] Free Library Cards for All 4J and Bethel Youth

Child reading while walking outside Downtown Library

En español

What’s the most powerful school supply? A library card! All students enrolled in Bethel School District schools can get a Eugene Public Library card for free, even if they live outside Eugene’s city limits.

Plus new this year: all children from birth to kindergarten who live in Bethel School District can also get a free library card, even if they live outside city limits.

Eugene Public Library offers print books, ebooks, audiobooks online and on CD, movies and television shows streaming online and on DVD/Blu–Ray, magazines and comics in print and online, music on CDs and online, videogames on discs, learning kits and a Library of Things.

A Eugene Public Library card is also the key to free online benefits including:

• Live tutors, study tools and practice tests (BrainFuse)

• Animated read-along books (TumbleBooks)

• Educational children’s shows, including PBS (Kanopy Kids)

• Language lessons (Mango Languages)

• Technology and career tutorials (LinkedIn Learning)

• The Great Courses (Kanopy)

For Bethel School District families who live outside city limits, the usual non–resident fee is being waived through a partnership of Bethel School District, Eugene Public Library and Eugene Public Library Foundation.

It's easy to sign up for a library card: call or visit today. Support your student's educational growth and success with a Eugene Public Library card!
