[ARCHIVED] SCU arrests man for delivery of oxycodone and possession of heroin

Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit developed information Aaron Graeme Weinberg, age 37, was selling heroin and suspected fentanyl pills at a motel in the 1400 block of W. 6th Avenue.  On December 8, surveillance was set up and short-stay traffic was observed coming to and from the location. The next day, SCU observed Weinberg depart the location and a traffic stop was conducted. A narcotics K9 was deployed and alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics.

Weinberg was arrested on a Parole Violation warrant and found in possession of light blue pills manufactured to appear as Oxycodone. Based on prior investigations, the pills were suspected to be fentanyl pills. Additionally, a felony amount of heroin was found hidden in small compartment in the trunk of the stopped vehicle.  Weinberg was lodged at the Lane County Jail for his PV warrant and Probable Cause charges for Unlawful Delivery Oxycodone (pending lab testing for fentanyl) and Unlawful Possession Heroin (felony, 10 or more grams). A search warrant was granted for the room Weinberg was staying in and additional evidence of delivery of narcotics was located.  Case 21-19227
