[ARCHIVED] Fatal pedestrian-train crash

Central Lane 911 received a call at 3:27 a.m. today, January 6, regarding a fatal crash between a pedestrian and train at Railroad Boulevard and North Polk Street. Eugene Police responded, as well as Lane County Medical Examiner. The crash is under investigation.

UPDATED JANUARY 11, 2022: The pedestrian has been identified as Ryan Silar Schroder, age 39, of Springfield.
