At 7:47 p.m. on January 18, Eugene Police and Springfield Fire EMS responded to a hit and run crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle in the 1300 block of Hwy. 99. The driver of the vehicle was located a short time later at Fairfield and Wood and was subsequently cooperating.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. EPD’s Major Collision Investigation team responded and is investigating the crash.
EPD arrested the driver, Amanda Marie Keirce, age 32, of Eugene, on a charge of Hit and Run – Felony. EPD Case 22-01065
