The Eugene Police Department is currently hiring for Community Service Officer positions.

 

CSOs are uniformed, non-sworn officers who provide a wide variety of services to the public and the Eugene Police Department. CSOs handle  non-emergency calls and assist other department divisions on a regular basis. Some of the job duties performed by CSOs include assisting with traffic crashes, responding to non-emergency calls, handling property and financial crime reports, and processing for evidence at burglaries and other property crime scenes.
