UPDATE
Eugene Police have arrested a suspect in these cases. Wayne Robert Krebs, age 67, no address, was contacted at W. 5th Avenue and Jefferson Street on March 6 at 10:42 a.m. and taken into custody on two counts of Arson in the Second Degree, six counts of Reckless Burning, Theft in the Third Degree, and two warrants.
Eugene Police is requesting anyone with relevant tips or video of Krebs to contact Detective Chris White at 541.682.5376 or Cwhite@eugene-or.gov . Photos are being included, below, to aid in the ongoing investigation.

A rash of 10 downtown trash bin and dumpster fires reported on Sunday
Starting around 6:40 a.m. on February 27, there were 10 trash bin and dumpster fires reported in the downtown Eugene area. Those fires were set over a span of about four and half hours. Buildings or vehicles were damaged by three of the fires.
Eugene Springfield Fire and Eugene Police responded. Eugene Police Arson detectives are investigating. They are asking for anyone who may have tips to call, and especially are asking businesses in the area that may have video of the suspect to call 541.682.5111, so detectives can review and collect the video.
