marathon runners on street

The Eugene Marathon is back this weekend and thousands of people will be running and walking through the streets of Eugene as they participate in the popular event. During the race, navigating through the city will be different than normal as there will be several road closures.

People should prepare for road closures during the morning and early afternoon hours of Sunday, May 1, 2022, and plan accordingly, especially around the University of Oregon area. There will also be road closures for Saturday’s morning races.

For more information about road closures, shuttle services, and parking information, visit the Eugene Marathon’s website. Visit Lane Transit District’s website for information about impacts to bus routes.

PeaceHealth Rides is also a great option to move around during the event and with the new unlocking method the bikes are even easier to unlock and use! See PeaceHealthRides.com to download the app, find a bike, and get rolling with ease.
