[ARCHIVED] EPD units combine resources on two separate significant drug case search warrants

June 15 - Case #22-08266

On June 15, Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit, SWAT, Special Investigations Unit, and Drone Team executed a narcotics-related search warrant at 530 Ruskin Drive in Eugene. The primary suspect Raymond Martin Kennedy, age 37, was observed leaving the location in a Maroon Chevy HHR and subsequently was stopped by EPD SWAT and taken into custody without incident at the intersection of Royal Avenue and Highway 99N.  At the completion of the traffic stop, EPD SWAT resources shifted to the residence and completed the second phase of the search warrant at 530 Ruskin Drive.  

 

The results of the search warrant resulted in the following items seized:

  • 270 grams of Heroin
  • More than 81 grams Methamphetamine
  • More than 165 grams counterfeit Oxy 30 Blue Pills (Suspected Fentanyl), approximately 1,900 pills
  • 2 handguns, including a loaded .22 magnum pocket revolver and a .22 magnum pistol with a retractable stock

 

Kennedy was subsequently lodged at Lane County Jail on the following charges:

  • Felon in Possession of a Firearm (2 counts)
  • Possession Controlled Substance Heroin-Commercial Delivery Offense
  • PCS Methamphetamine-Commercial Delivery Offense
  • PCS Sch 1 (Counterfeit Oxy 30’s; suspected Fentanyl)- Commercial Delivery Offense

 Case #22-08266

 

June 16 - Case #22-08974

On June 16, Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit, SWAT, Special Investigations Unit, and Drone Team executed a narcotics-related search warrant at 407 Panda Loop in Eugene. The primary suspect, Michael Patrick Dillon, age 49, was observed leaving the location in a Black Dodge 2500 and was subsequently stopped by EPD SWAT and taken into custody around 5 p.m. without incident at the intersection of Gateway Street and Harlow Road. At the completion of the traffic stop, EPD SWAT resources shifted to the residence and completed the second phase of the search warrant at 407 Panda Loop.  

 

The results of the search warrant resulted in the following items seized:

  • More than 340 grams of Heroin, and 44 grams Methamphetamine
  • 27 grams of counterfeit Oxy 30 Blue Pills (Suspected Fentanyl), 85 pills
  • 26 ounces total package weight-BHO (Butane Hash Oil)

 

Dillon was subsequently lodged at Lane County Jail on the following charges:

  • Child Neglect 1
  • Possession Controlled Substance/Delivery of Controlled Substance Heroin-Commercial Delivery Offense
  • PCS/DCS Methamphetamine-Commercial Delivery Offense
  • PCS Sch 1 (Counterfeit Oxy 30’s; suspected Fentanyl)- Commercial Delivery Offense
