Eugene residents looking for new opportunities to become involved in the community can apply now for positions on City boards and commissions. There are 11 boards and commissions accepting applications for terms beginning July 1, 2023.
Members of boards and commissions provide an invaluable service to our city by advising the City Council and City staff on a wide variety of subjects and making recommendations on important policy matters. The detailed studies and considered advice provided by boards and commissions often inspire innovative programs and improved services within the City.
Residents interested in participating in local government and helping to improve the community may consider applying for an opening. The following groups have openings in 2023:
