Community Court program participants are required to complete a certain number of hours of Community Restoration during the length of their case plan. Between February 2022 through January 2023, participants completed 610.5 hours of Community Restoration projects.
Community Restoration partners and projects include:
City of Eugene Cultural Services
- Projects include preparing spaces for for Window Art Exhibitions, First Friday Art Walk, and various downtown cultural events.
City of Eugene Facilities, Downtown Program
- Projects include landscaping, Park Block clean up, planting, lot clean up, power washing, and various downtown maintenance.
Alliance for Community Wellness
- Presentations and group discussions are held for participants at the library, where they learn about a variety topics including harm reduction, STDs, and HIV/AIDs. The presentations are held twice a month, with a rotating topic each class so all participants encounter each topic at least once within the length of their case plan.
