The two-day annual sale benefits Eugene Public Library activities and events
Join in a beloved local tradition and shop for a good cause at the Friends of Eugene Public Library's giant Book Sale on Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16 at Lane Events Center Performance Hall. The benefit runs 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.
Proceeds from this all-volunteer project help support Eugene Public Library activities and events, including Summer Reading books and programs for children and teens.
Shoppers can browse thousands of gently used and like-new books, most at the bargain price of $2. Choices include fiction and nonfiction in paperback and hardcover, all genres, recent bestsellers and rare and specialty books. DVDs, audio books, sheet music, music CDs, vintage magazines and a large selection of children's books, DVDs and CDs will also be for sale.
As an additional fundraiser, a silent auction will be held for three handcrafted Little Free Library boxes.
VISA/Mastercard will be accepted as well as cash and checks. Admission and parking are free. Organizers recommend bringing a bag or box to carry purchases.
